A Memorable Wedding Gallery: Love Duo Returns for Season 2

On 29 and 30 June 2024, BusinessWoman Magazine and Step in Style, in partnership with Le Méridien Saigon, hosted the second season of Wedding Gallery: Love Duo. With a refreshed layout, enhanced interactive features, and a more emotionally engaging atmosphere, the event offered an elevated bridal showcase experience that captivated over 500 attendees across two days.

A Curated Wedding Showcase with Practical Highlights

The Wedding Gallery brought together leading names in Vietnam’s wedding and lifestyle industry, including Tierra Diamond, Nhựt Tailor, Make Up Forever, Amor Fati, Oracle Clinic Vietnam, Timo Wedding, Kim Couture, Linh Nga Bridal, CarePlus International Clinic, Min Wedding and Event Planner, JW Marriott Phu Quoc, Sheraton Can Tho, Dream Wedding, Homi Décor, Choi Jae Hoon Vietnam, BARSON, Boujee and Latest Recipe Saigon.

The second edition of the Love Duo wedding exhibition was held in the elegant setting of Le Méridien Saigon Hotel

Despite launching just two months after the debut season, the second edition of Love Duo featured a major upgrade in concept and execution. Guests were treated to a range of immersive activities—from personalised skincare consultations and wedding makeup tutorials to gourmet tastings and a 360° photo booth experience.

Mr. Nguyễn Công Minh, CEO of BusinessWoman Magazine

During the opening ceremony, Nguyễn Công Minh, CEO of BusinessWoman Magazine, shared: “After the success of our inaugural event in April, we wanted this second season to bring even more enriching and enjoyable activities. Especially, the talkshow segment remains a signature highlight—an intimate space for sharing real concerns and heartfelt stories around wedding planning”.

Mr. Lars Kerfin, General Manager of Le Méridien Saigon

Echoing this sentiment, Lars Kerfin, General Manager of Le Méridien Saigon, remarked: “Having been married for 26 years, I understand the significance of a wedding. Choosing the right vendors is crucial. Love Duo offers engaged couples a one-stop destination to discover the best services in the industry”.

Throughout the two-day exhibition, guests enjoyed wine tastings and a live food showcase celebrating Asian culinary artistry by Le Méridien’s five-star chefs. Brides-to-be received professional makeup tips for long-lasting, radiant looks, and got hands-on at DIY boutonnière and corsage stations. The unique wedding dress try-on experience was also a crowd favourite, giving many attendees a magical glimpse into their bridal moment.

Wellness, Beauty, and Thoughtful Touches

Acknowledging the mental and physical demands of wedding planning, this year’s exhibition also welcomed healthcare and wellness partners. Couples could consult on pre-marital health packages, while brides had the chance to undergo professional skin analyses at dedicated skincare booths. Specialists from Oracle Clinic Vietnam advised on recovery routines to restore glow ahead of the big day—highlighting the importance of self-care in achieving flawless wedding makeup.

Spotlight on Love Stories and Generational Wisdom

On the second day, the event’s hallmark Love Duo Talkshow once again captured the audience with heartfelt discussions on love, beauty, and modern wedding perspectives. Hosted by media personality Liêu Hà Trinh, the session featured high-profile speakers including actress Dương Cẩm Lynh, Emmi Hoàng (Founder of Happy Skin Vietnam), and singer-actress Vũ Ngọc Anh.

Singer and actress Vũ Ngọc Anh shared memories of her wedding celebration with singer Cường Seven

Sharing her recent wedding with singer Cường Seven, Vũ Ngọc Anh described their celebration as a disco-themed ceremony—fusing contemporary vibes with traditional rituals to honour family values. “It was important for me that my parents felt proud and joyous on that day”, she said.

Ms. Emmi Hoàng – Founder Happy Skin Vietnam

Meanwhile, Emmi Hoàng reflected on the more communal nature of weddings in the 1980s, emphasising that ceremonies were more about family and community than personal expression. “It wasn’t just a union between two individuals, it was a celebration involving the whole extended family”, she noted.

Actress Dương Cẩm Lynh shared her thoughts on how modern weddings have evolved compared to those in the past

Actress Dương Cẩm Lynh echoed these sentiments, remarking how couples of her generation rarely had access to wedding expos or professional planners, making it harder to realise their dream weddings.

Mr. Lê Hoàng Minh, Creative Director of the second edition of Love Duo, shared common concerns faced by brides and grooms

Concluding the talk, host Liêu Hà Trinh summarised: “Each generation’s mindset—its aesthetic values, culture, and resources—gets reflected clearly in their wedding albums and videos”.

The panel also welcomed special guests such as People’s Artist Mỹ Uyên, actress Kim Nhã, Dr. Lê Văn Hiền and singer Vũ Thịnh, who contributed to the vibrant conversation.

Beyond an Exhibition – A Gift of Gratitude

Beyond the inspiration and practical takeaways, Love Duo also expressed appreciation to its guests by giving away hundreds of luxury gifts throughout the two days, thank-you tokens to honour their presence and participation.
