In today’s modern society, beauty is no longer just about outward appearance — it has become a symbol of inner strength and self-acceptance. This is precisely why OUI | Oracle Clinic Vietnam chose to partner with “Undress to Empower”, a deeply meaningful event that encourages women to bravely shed the “armor” of past wounds, imperfections, and scars in order to face and embrace themselves with love.
Guided by the philosophy that “beauty is not just to be admired, but to be lived with,” OUI aspires to be a trusted companion on every woman’s journey to rediscovering her confidence and self-worth.
In this interview, Ms. Lam Quynh, CEO of OUI, shares heartfelt reflections on the brand’s mission, real-life experiences, and an empowering message to all women walking the path of self-love.
What is it about “Undress to Empower” that resonates with the core values of OUI | Oracle Clinic Vietnam and inspired the brand to take part in this journey?
To me, “Undress to Empower” is not just an event, it’s a powerful reminder of what true beauty means: when a woman is brave enough to face herself, her wounds, her imperfections, and her scars, both physical and emotional.
OUI | Oracle Clinic Vietnam chose to accompany this journey because we believe that beauty is not just about refreshing one’s appearance, it’s about awakening inner strength. It’s how we spread the energy of authenticity, where beauty is not only to be seen, but to be felt, to be lived with, and to build resilience from.
From your perspective, how should a beauty brand position itself to become a true companion, rather than just a service provider?
Today, a beauty brand can no longer stop at improving appearances. We believe we must become a trusted companion in every woman’s journey to rediscover her confidence and learn to love herself again.
In a deeper sense, aesthetics can carry a social mission, to help women overcome fear, break free from prejudice, and find the courage to see themselves with the compassion and appreciation they truly deserve.
In your opinion, what makes women feel most vulnerable when they look at their own bodies — especially in a society that places such heavy emphasis on physical perfection?
I believe the deepest vulnerability women often experience comes from the feeling of not being enough, not beautiful enough, not young enough, not perfect enough according to the invisible standards society imposes.
We forget that every woman’s body is a living journey, it holds the stretch marks of motherhood, the changes of time, the traces of battles overcome. And that journey, with all its “imperfections,” deserves to be embraced as a true and powerful part of who we are.

If each phase of life were a layer of clothing, which “layer” has been the hardest for you to shed, and why?
For me, the hardest “layer” to shed has been the perfectionism tied to responsibility, something many women carry on their shoulders without even realizing it. As a mother and a business leader, I’ve often lost touch with my own emotions in the effort to fulfill every role perfectly.
Letting go of that isn’t easy. It’s a journey I’m still learning every day, learning to pause, to breathe slowly, to accept that it’s okay to be vulnerable, and to allow myself to be cared for. And I’ve come to realize that sometimes, the bravest thing isn’t to keep pushing forward, but to step back and be gentle with yourself.
Have you ever encountered clients who seek aesthetic treatments not just to change their appearance, but to heal something deeper within?
Yes, more often than we might think. Many clients come in wanting to erase a wrinkle, but in truth, they’re trying to erase a trace of memory, maybe a loss, a wound, or a difficult chapter in their lives.
At OUI | Oracle Clinic Vietnam, we always begin with a simple question: “Why do you want to change this?” Because behind every desire to look different lies a host of emotions that often haven’t been named. And sometimes, just by being sincerely listened to, the healing process within them has already quietly begun.
The phrase “Beauty is not just to be admired, but to be lived with” seems to carry many layers of meaning, especially during Pink October. How does this message connect with OUI’s mission and the journey of women facing illness?
Pink October is a time for us to reflect on the strength of women, those who continue to carry pride and self-love even as they face profound changes, both physically and emotionally.
“Beauty is not just to be admired, but to be lived with” is a philosophy that OUI has always embraced. For us, beauty is not about chasing some fixed standard, it’s about helping every woman feel at ease, confident, and peaceful in her own body, even when that body carries scars, is healing, or is undergoing transformation. That is real beauty, a beauty with depth, emotion, and vitality. And most importantly, it doesn’t need to be perfect to be worthy of love and respect.
After each experience at OUI, what is the deeper value you hope your clients take with them, beyond physical beauty?
I always hope that when clients leave OUI, they don’t just feel satisfied with brighter skin or a fresher look, but that they carry with them a sense of lightness, confidence, and truly being seen and understood.
At OUI, we’re not here to create a single mold of beauty, there’s no such thing as a “standard OUI face.” What we strive to offer is the best version of you, where beauty is not just a surface, but a form of life energy that empowers you to step out into the world glowing from within.

What message would you like to share with the women participating in or following the “Undress to Empower” campaign?
I want every woman to know: “You don’t need to be perfect to be worthy of love.” Be brave enough to let go of fear, to truly face your body and your emotions. It’s in that honesty and courage that we reclaim our inner strength, and begin to radiate a light that can inspire those around us.
If you had the chance to speak directly to women who are fighting breast cancer, what would you say to them?
I would say: “Your body may change, but your strong heart and the light within you will never fade.” You are still you, beautiful, worthy, and an inspiration to all of us.
After this programme, what do you hope to share or spread to the wider community?
I hope to spread the spirit of being enough, and being at peace, enough love, enough strength, enough acceptance. Not just as a CEO, but as a woman who has been through many transformations herself, I truly believe: self-love is not selfish. It is how we continue to love and care for others.

Can you share a recent act of self-love you’ve given yourself?
Recently, I allowed myself to sleep in for an entire morning, no meetings, no phone calls. I just had coffee and read a book.
It was a small moment, but a deeply important one. It reminded me that I’m still Lam Quynh, not just a CEO or a mother of four, but a woman with her own inner world.
In your opinion, what kind of beauty can technology never create?
It’s the beauty in a loving gaze and a compassionate heart. No machine can ever generate that. Only life experience, understanding, and kindness can make a woman truly radiant.
